Hiya!I am Maxim (they/he), a 27-year-old 2D digital artist who looooves visual development and storytelling. I am currently an animation student in their 2nd study year.My artistic journey began when I was a toddler in my parents' living room, with scribbles of characters from 'Aaahh! Real Monsters' and 'Power Rangers' (red ranger 4ever) and VHS copies of Dreamworks and golden-era Disney titles rewound to dust. The pull to draw then became stronger in my early teens, when long-running anime titles like Bleach got me in their grasp.I've since nurtured that hobby into a honed skill by finishing a children's fine arts school (a 4- or 5-year-long extracurricular school course specific to the former Eastern Bloc education programmes) in my hometown, Chișinău, and dabbling into the world of fanart online, learning how to create in digital format from whatever the internet had to offer.Would be a lie to say I've always stayed true to my calling - I had taken several detours (like a whole bloody Computer Science bachelor's degree or several years of work in corporate IT or human rights advocacy). I couldn't ignore the urge to create and tell stories, though. That is why now I am working on a whole-arse other degree, this time in Digital Animation :DI love creating characters and work on worldbuilding!
